Aunt Quotes

Overview

Aunt Quotes is a Chrome extension that displays heartfelt quotes celebrating aunts and lets users save their favorite quotes. This policy explains what information the extension handles and how it is used. We built Aunt Quotes to be as simple and private as possible.

Information We Collect

Aunt Quotes does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The extension does not use analytics, tracking scripts, cookies, or advertising identifiers of any kind.

The only data the extension handles is the list of quotes a user chooses to mark as a favorite by tapping the heart icon. This list is stored using Chrome's built-in storage API, which keeps the data locally within the user's own browser profile.

How Your Data Is Used

• Favorited quotes are used only to populate the "Favorites" tab inside the extension popup.
• No data ever leaves your device — there are no servers, APIs, or third-party services involved.
• No information is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond displaying your saved quotes back to you.

Data Sharing

Because all data stays on your device, Aunt Quotes has nothing to share. We do not sell, rent, or transfer any information to advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party.

Data Retention & Removal

Favorited quotes remain stored locally until you remove them. You can remove any individual favorite from within the extension, or clear all extension data at once by uninstalling Aunt Quotes from Chrome — this permanently deletes any locally stored information.

Aunt Quotes does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because the extension does not collect personal information at all.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is ever updated, the revised version will be published at this same location with an updated "Last updated" date above.
